The CIC Metadata Portal Uses DLXS Software 
The university of Michigan Digital library production service has developed the Digital library eXtension service (DLXS). The DLXS software is a middleware for digital libraries. It manages digital library content and allows users to search collections of XML documents using the XPat search engine. The DLXS software is used for the OAIster service to access over 3.000.000 online academic resources from over 300 institutions. The CIC portal offers various "views" of the CIC universities data. The CIC keyword search interface is powered by the DLXS software.
